🚀 Your Onboarding Adventure: Step-by-Step

📝 Before Day 1: Getting Ready

  • Who: Bo Joel Kvarnsmyr or HR will reach out.
  • What:
    • You'll receive a welcome email detailing your start date, time for your first meeting (via Slack video), and a brief overview of your first week. 📧
    • Expect a digital agreement via Paperbell or DocuSign (tool TBD). Please sign and return promptly. ✍️
    • You'll get a Slack invitation – this is our primary communication hub!
    • Role-specific preparation materials will be shared:
      • Developers: Setup guides for key technologies like Python, React, Firebase, and our core AI engine VedAstro on GCE.
      • Coaches: Complimentary access to our platform for exploration before you start.
      • Funding Specialists: Access to the Action Plan and Funding Strategy documents.

👋 Day 1: Welcome to the Team!

    • Team Introduction: A friendly meet-and-greet with the core team via Slack video. Get to know your colleagues!
    • Role Kickoff Meeting: Discuss your specific role, responsibilities, and how they align with Inner Journey's vision (e.g., the Funding team's Q2 target of securing 2,230,332 SEK).
    • Initial Setup & Orientation:
      • Developers: Verify VedAstro setup environment access.
      • Coaches: Participate in a platform demonstration.
      • Funding Specialists: Review Q2 funding targets and priorities.

  • Goal: Familiarize yourself with our tools and processes, and begin your first contributions.
  • Key Steps:
    • Platform Exploration: Log in, navigate the MVP features, and share your initial thoughts or questions.
    • Connect with Your Mentor/Team: Don't hesitate to reach out on Slack to any teammate if you have questions. We encourage collaboration!
    • Begin Your First Tasks:
      • Developers: Start setting up the VedAstro instance on GCE (Target completion: May 2025).
      • Coaches: Outline a plan for a test coaching session with a volunteer user.
      • Funding Specialists: Begin drafting the Vinnova application (aiming for the 465,865 SEK grant, due May 2025).
